Racing Louisville defender Lauren Milliet met with media Tuesday to preview her team’s 10 p.m. ET Wednesday matchup at Angel City at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.
The 27-year-old Milliet went into detail about the progress the team has made with first-year head coach Bev Yanez and a new coaching staff around here, saying the team is building “a real identity” as the players get more and more comfortable with the new system.
“Bev was here last year, but it’s her first time at the helm for us,” Milliet said. “I think she’s brought in some new stylistic things for us, some new tactical things, so I think it always takes a bit of time to adjust to any of that, and we’ve brought in a lot of new players. I think all of that starts to jell.”
