In the second week of the A-League Women season, four of the five Racing players on loan in Australia were in action.
Emina Ekic, who is on loan with Melbourne City FC, did not have a match this past weekend.
Here’s how they did …
Jess McDonald
McDonald scored the opening goal in Western United’s 4-1 Victory over Wellington Phoenix. This marks her third-straight game finding the back of the net, dating back to Racing’s regular-season finale against the Kansas City Current.
Hillary Beall
In net, Beall played the full 90 minutes in Western United’s 4-1 win over Wellington, helping Western United be one of two teams to have six points through the first two match weeks.
Jordyn Bloomer
Making her A League Women debut, Bloomer made seven saves in Western Sydney’s 4-2 loss to the Newcastle Jets.
Alex Chidiac
Chidiac started and played all 90 minutes in Melbourne Victory’s 2-0 defeat to Sydney FC, where the Australian won five fouls.
