* Racing Louisville FC and its brother club Louisville City FC were featured in a WHAS-11 documentary-length feature on soccer in our city on Monday. The documentary includes interviews with Racing players Emina Ekic and Jessica McDonald as well as team owner John Neace, president James O’Connor and academy director and Racing assistant coach Mario Sanchez.

* Star rookie Savannah DeMelo added to her standout year with a call-up to the U.S. Women’s National Team last week, earning the move after Washington Spirit forward Trinity Rodman had to pull out of the team’s camp. Backheeled analyzed how DeMelo has broken out as a rookie this year in the NWSL.
* DeMelo along with Racing stars Emily Fox, Jaelin Howell and Katie Lund were included in ESPN’s analysis of the potential 2023 World Cup roster for the USWNT.
* Racing ambassador Allison Lewis (aka @Absolutely_Alli) is hosting a Paint Your Player night at Noble Funk Brewery (922 S. 2nd Street) on Friday, Sept. 30, with a portion of proceeds going to charity.
