Ekic scored her first goal for Melbourne City FC helping the club to a 3-0 victory over Brisbane Roar.
She also earned a seventh-minute penalty, completed 87% of her passes and created four chances.
Alex Chidiac
Chidiac provided the assist off her corner kick to help Melbourne Victory to its first victory of the A-League Women season.
Jess McDonald
McDonald went the full 90 minutes in Western United’s 2-1 comeback win over Adelaide United.
Hillary Beall
Beall made her third consecutive start for Western United, helping the newest A-League Women club become the only one with nine points through the first three weeks of the season.
Jordyn Bloomer
Bloomer recorded five saves in Western Sydney’s 1-0 defeat to Sydney FC.
