Philippus was a three-time All-American and twice named the Big 12 Defender of the Year in 2024 and 2025. She is the second player in program history with such accolades, joining Janine Sonis. She is the fourth player in Big 12 history to win the conference Defender of the Year Award in back-to-back seasons.
TopDrawerSoccer named her as the No. 3 collegiate player in the country in 2025.
Upon launching, Racing Louisville made its city home to a major-league sports franchise for the first time in 41 years. The club plays in the NWSL — the world’s top women’s soccer circuit that’s home to most members of the highly successful U.S. national team — and plays at Lynn Family Stadium.
