Friday's highlights: Racing 3, Utah Royals 2 - Racing Louisville FC

Ellie Jean and Sarah Weber scored their first pro goals, Emma Sears knocked in a beautiful strike from distance, and Racing Louisville defeated the Utah Royals on Friday by a 3-2 score at Lynn Family Stadium. Racing has won four of five games for the first time in club history while climbing to fifth in the NWSL standings.

Upon launching, Racing Louisville made its city home to a major-league sports franchise for the first time in 41 years. The club plays in the NWSL — the world’s top women’s soccer circuit that’s home to most members of the highly successful U.S. national team — and plays at recently opened Lynn Family Stadium.
