Racing Louisville coach Bev Yanez met with reporters Wednesday to discuss the upcoming 2025 campaign and look back on her first year leading the club.
“Incredibly excited for the 2025 season to begin,” Yanez said. “Like you mentioned, it feels like It’s flown by. When it first ends, it feels very long and then very quickly can speed up. So, incredibly excited for the start of the season, taking a lot of 2024 and some self-reflection as the head coach and as a staff in ways that we can be better. I know it’s no secret we finished ninth yet again, so the self-reflection process is going to be very important for us coming into this season. And that 1-2% that essentially everybody’s searching for that gets us over the line has been something that’s been on my mind the entire offseason. Very excited to come in, very excited to see the players and get together as a staff. We’ve been in communications the entire offseason as a staff, we have had meetings with players coming in. And I am very excited for the season to start.”
