Racing Louisville FC has acquired midfielder Jordan Fusco on loan from San Diego Wave FC through the remainder of the calendar year, the clubs announced today.
Fusco, in her second professional campaign, has made nine appearances for the Wave this season. She will be available for selection for Racing’s Friday match against league-leading Gotham FC, which coincides with her 23rd birthday.
“I’m really excited to be joining Racing Louisville and be a part of this team,” Fusco said. “I’ve heard so many great things about the club, the players, and the city. I am really looking forward to this next chapter, to keep growing as a player, and to compete with a great group of teammates. I can’t wait to get started!”
The soon-to-be 23-year-old has made 16 NWSL appearances and recorded one assist, all with the Wave, a club she initially joined as a non-roster trialist ahead of the 2025 season. Fusco earned a short-term contract that was later extended, and this past offseason she signed a two-year extension with San Diego through 2027. She notably played with current Racing defender Quincy McMahon at the Wave last year.
Fusco’s NWSL debut came at Lynn Family Stadium last season on April 19.
Fusco went out on loan in December 2025 to Tampa Bay Sun FC of the USL Super League. There, the midfielder impressed, netting two goals in four games before being recalled just before the 2026 NWSL season opener.

We’re looking forward to seeing her get started and become a part of the team.”
“Jordan is a young player with potential and we expect that she will be a great fit in our locker room,” Racing general manager Caitlyn Flores Milby said. “We are excited to bring her in for the remainder of this season as we hope to close the season with positive momentum.”
Collegiately, Fusco spent three years at the University of Tennessee before finishing with one season at Penn State University. At Tennessee, she earned a first-team All-SEC nod (2023) and an All-SEC freshman selection (2021), totaling 14 goals and 10 assists across 61 games (53 starts).
Fusco’s short time as a Nittany Lion saw her collect three goals and 12 assists in 25 games played, all starts, to wrap up her college career. Her 12 assists marked just the fourth time a player has reached that total for the school since 2010. Fusco received second-team All-Big Ten honors in that lone season at Penn State, as she helped lead the school to a 15-win season and a second straight NCAA tournament quarterfinal appearance.
A native of Olmsted Township, Ohio, less than 400 miles north of Louisville, Fusco starred at Internationals Soccer Club, where she was a three-time Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) All-Ohio Valley Conference honoree.
