Racing Louisville FC captain and defender Arin Wright will make her milestone 200th National Women’s Soccer League appearance Friday night. She will start for Louisville against the Portland Thorns. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. ET at Lynn Family Stadium.
Wright will become just the ninth player in NWSL history to play 200 or more games. Lauren Barnes, who retired following the 2025 season, holds the league record with 252 games played. Friday will be the 189th start of Wright’s career. She ranks eighth all-time in NWSL history in minutes with 16,312.
Wright captains a team that includes two changes from Sunday’s 1-0 loss at Gotham FC.
Makenna Morris replaces Emma Sears in the attack. Morris will make her second start of the season, after she started last week at the Washington Spirit.
Friday marks just the second game this season that Sears has not started for Louisville. She missed a March loss at the Seattle Reign due to injury. She will be available from the bench Friday.
The other change sees Quincy McMahon start at left back. Courtney Petersen will slide to center back, with Wright moving to the right center back position. Ellie Jean, who had played every minute of the season for Racing, will miss Friday’s game with an illness.
Lauren Milliet will start at right back. She too could reach a milestone on Friday. If Milliet plays 76 minutes Friday, she will pass 10,000 minutes in her NWSL career.
Ella Hase and Sarah Weber will join Morris in the attack. The duo have three goals and two assists between them.
Taylor Flint headlines a midfield that will include Katie O’Kane and Kayla Fischer. Flint leads the league with 26 interceptions this season. She also ranks ninth in tackles won.
Fischer and O’Kane have each appeared in all seven games for Racing this season, with one goal and three assists between them.
On the bench, Sears is among four attacking options, joining Maja Lardner, Rachel Hill and Audrey McKeen. Rookie defender Mirann Gacioch is available for the first time since March 20, when she played 90 minutes in a 2-2 draw with the Washington Spirit. She missed the last five games due to injury.
